Author Dalene Kelly expertly guides readers through this beautifully illustrated guide to the timeless art of French-beading—a craft that dates its origins back several hundred years and that now is making a huge resurgence. Includes step-by-step instructions for making 38 different flowers, such as snapdragons, coral beans, pansies, irises, tiger lilies, gardenias and more. Crafters will quickly learn the techniques for stringing beads and fashioning them into floral works of art and then create these four stunning projects—a cymbidium corsage, rose hair barrette, Shasta daisy napkin ring, and rose bud bridal veil.

Crafters and beaders alike will find this book to be innovative and inspiring.

Kelly has been actively French beading for more than 15 years and teaches the technique to others at her French-beaded Flower business in Ohio.

• Crafters and beaders will learn to make 38 different beautiful flowers
• More than 40 illustrations guide readers through every technique and project

French beading as a craft dates back to 16th-century European peasants, who made flowers and wreaths from discarded beads. The technique involves stringing seed beads on wires and bending them into three-dimensional shapes. French-beaded flowers are surprisingly realistic and virtually indestructible. These step-by-step projects are for almost 40 individual flowers with leaves that can be placed in vases, worn on hats, or made into corsages. The finished products are quite lovely and unlike any other artificial flowers.

FOR U.S. BUYERS, I AM HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE AUCTION WINS AT THE COST OF POSTAGE PLUS 19 CENTS TO COVER HANDLING AND MAILING SUPPLIES.

FYI:

I take a great deal of pride in offering good products....products that I would want to buy myself, at reasonable prices with excellent, careful packaging and some of the most cost effective shipping on Ebay.

I send your packages to you based on a simple formula -- one of the best on EBAY.....the actual cost of the shipping plus 19 cents for delivery confirmation.  This is for single items or multiple item packages.  Delivery confirmation lets you KNOW that I have shipped your purchase and we both know if and when it has been delivered.  I charge nothing extra for my time or for my packaging materials.  I buy bubble mailers....not the cheap ones, but quality envelopes that protect against rough handling by the USPS and most often gets your book to you in the same condition as it was when I shipped it out.

I most often offer at least two shipping options....one that is fast and a bit more expensive and one that is slower and "cheap."  Since I primarily sell books this is usually media mail.  Media mail by USPS definition, on average takes 3 - 9 business days.  If it is a busy time of year, a big box or a destination that is further than most, it can often take longer than that.  I ship out within 24 hours of payment (or the next business day if it is a holiday or weekend).  I often go to the PO twice a day.  That is all that I can do to help insure timely delivery for you.  PLEASE KNOW -- I have no control over the time it takes the USPS once the package leaves my hands.

If you win this auction, please consider the above and judge my performance as a seller accordingly when you leave feedback.  THANKS!!!
