This is an antique display box for 3 medals or similar. The inside has a light blue silk material lining on the inner lid and a royal blue velvet material lining on the base.
The 3 insets measure 56mm in diameter.

The outside of the box is quite badly scuffed and scratched. Would need some elbow grease to get it looking better.
It measures approx. 9 inches x 6 inches x 1 and 1/2 inches.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
