This youth fork in Fontainebleau by Gorham is part of a multi motif service designed by Antoine Heller that depicts the harvest, preparation, and serving of an elaborate French meal.  Heller worked for Tiffany and Gorham, and was born in France, frequently drawing on themes from his country of birth.

This fork has a scene of a child playing croquet.  As it's a piece for a child, perhaps a scene with a child at play was deemed a more appropriate then one with food.

The fork is 6" long and weighs 27 grams.

It is marked for pat.82 sterling and Gorham on the bottom.

I have considered the fork's issues in pricing.
