IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not use with water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. We recommend regularly scheduled maintenance and replacement of the filter cartridge in order for the product to perform properly.

*The service life will depend upon a number of factors such as source particulate load, treatment flow volumes and good care and maintenance of the housing environment.

Deterioration in flow rates is a good indicator of the filter having reached it's maximum particulate absorption threshold.

Changes to the taste of your filtered water or any changes in color of the filter should also result in changing the filter and servicing of the housing.

Ensure you flush a newly installed carbon block filter with several litres of water to flush any carbon dust manufacturing residue, this will show as a slight grey/black tint in the water. It is harmless to human health, and is purely aesthetic.
