Here’s a 1960s wool felt hat made under the label Angel Designs that has an exquisite display of feathers with a very fine net cover. This netting is a wonderful way to protect all the beautiful feather work. The feathers exhibit many shades including red, white, yellow, orange and brown. There is an outer brown ribbon. This hat is a very comfortable hat and will look amazing with your vintage 1960s attire!
Condition: Very Good
There is definitely some wear ….discoloration and some soiling. And, there is some soiling to the label. But, oddly enough, the rest of the inner hat is in great condition. As mentioned previously, the feathers have remained in very nice condition thanks to the net covering which has served them well. There are a few that have peeped through….but only small wispy ones. The wool has some scratches.
