Born in Puerto Rico, Jon Z grew up listening to hip-hop and Reggaeton and was heavily influenced by the music and the culture that came with it. And after a few years began creating music. After creating a social media buzz and doing live performances all over Puerto Rico, he caught the attention of Manuel Alejandro Ruiz p/k/a Boy Wonder, President & CEO of Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Inc. After being signed to the label, and with the direction of the acclaimed producer, he created a mix tape that has a combination of reggaeton inspired beats and hip-hop styled lyrics.

JonTrapVolta will be the first released CD by Jon Z and will be a mix of Latin Trap, Hip-Hop & Reggaeton. Latin Trap, a subgenre of Latin Hip-Hop and Reggaeton, is one of the hottest music out there today. It is a wild fire that has spread quickly through Latin America and made its way through major cities in both North and South America, while steadily making its way through Europe.
