The cab we are talking about is a " Certified Antique Bond" from Collect-a-thon, ebay's #1 site for really cool old stuff. The bond was issued in (and is dated) 1930 by, now here's mouthful: INDUSTRIA NACIONAL DE TAXIMETROS Y APARTOS DE PRECISION S.A. MADRID (National Taxi Meter and Precision Parts Industries Corporation of Madrid). 

Measuring approx. 10" x 14" and perfect for framing, this 500 Peseta bond is exquisitely engraved in rich earth-tone colors and hand signed by both "El Presidente" and "El Secretario" of the company. It also has 35 original, uncancelled coupons attached! But the crowning glory of this antique paper gem has to be the full width vignette (steel etched illustration). Within a fancy art deco "eye" looking into the pre-Franco past, framed by an eagle's wings, an entire fleet of ancient Spanish taxis putters to and fro before the Madrid skyline !! In the foreground looms an incredibly detailed "Ripoll" Taxi Meter, displaying the mileage and fare in pesetas and centimos with an upright "Libre" (Unoccupied) sign, ready to take you wherever you may dream. At its base are scattered various and sundry of the "precision parts" in the title (gears, coils, bearings, levers, etc)!! Talk about a blast from the past!! 

Thick sturdy paper in crisp condition with a light rubber stamp cancellation applied in Barcelona (repeated on the reverse). May have a single light handling fold that can be matted out
