Prototype: German State Railroad (former East German DR) class 132 heavy general-purpose locomotive. C-C wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1974 in the USSR. Use: Heavy passenger and freight trains.

Model: Era IV. The locomotive has an NEM digital connector. The locomotive has a motor with a flywheel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. Length over the buffers 126 mm / 4-15/16".

Ludmilla from Woroschilowgrad, a Railroader. At its presentation in 1967, the class V 300 heavy diesel locomotive was a status symbol for East Germany's German State Railroad. Due to the comparably late electrification of the DR network, this unit was more successful than its western cousin of the same class - the V 300 was built as a regular production model as the classes 130, 131, and 132. According to the planned economic regulations from the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (RGW/Comecon), locomotives of this performance class were built in the USSR for all of the member countries. The Russian origin lent these locomotives the nickname "Ludmilla", which railroaders still use laughingly for the DB AG's current class 232.

Visual inspection indicates this model was probably only test run or never used, no wheel wear or dust. please see the photos. From Mint condition to Like New Condition.

This item is from a prolific model train collectors estate, he only collected and never ran or used his items. Many of the boxes/packages in this collection were still factory sealed when we took photographs. These are dust free, and pristine, no signs of use or wear... Boxes may or may not have some very slight shelf wear, old price stickers.
