Product Description:

This is a Vintage Authentic Wind Gauge Anemometer that was salvaged from a once-working vessel. An anemometer is a device to measure wind speed and direction. The two gauges measure wind direction and wind speed. This would be used with an anemoscope. It shows the direction of the wind or foretells the change in the direction or weather of the wind.

This instrument was made by the Koshin Denki Kogyo Co., as shown on a plaque on the back side of the box.  Also, you will find a connection diagram of the wind directory and wind speed indicator

You will find where the wind direction and speed are read on the front. You will also find an on and-off switch towards the bottom of the item.

This vintage nautical piece would be a great item to add to your nautical collection.
