Model: The train is a three-part unit consisting of a powered car (VT), an intermediate car (VM), and a cab control car (VS). The train comes with a DCC-/Selectrix decoder, C-Sine high-efficiency propulsion system, and built-in interior lighting. 2 axles powered. 2 traction tires. There is a special close coupled connection between the cars in the train. The train has built-in interior details. There is a clear view through the engineer's cabs in the end cars. The interior lighting has maintenance-free LED's. The dual headlights and marker lights change over with the direction of travel and along with the interior lighting will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The acceleration and braking delay can be controlled with Selectrix or Trix Systems. The three-unit train can be lengthened prototypically with an intermediate car. Length of the three-unit train 85.6 cm / 33-11/16".
• The station platform announcements "Please close the doors", the associated sounds of the doors being closed, and the departure whistle as well as the reporter"s sound bite from 1954 "Germany is the world champion ..." can be controlled with Märklin Systems as auxiliary environment sound functions. In addition, the sound of escaping compressed air can be activated with the Central Station.

This powered rail car train can be found in Märklin assortment for the three-rail system under item no. 39080. The intermediate car lettered "Fußball WM 1954" is being offered for the three-rail system under item no. 42080.
