Since Angel’s purchase of a tile printing machine, she prints everything on a tile! From gifts to pictures…they look great and are very useful. At The Chateau, we love using these ceramic tiles as kitchen trivets to balance hot plates or as a stand for our plant pots, not forgetting what lovely feature tiles they make! Our tiles are ceramic and measure 150mm (5.9") x 150mm (5.9") supplied bubble wrapped to help protect the design in transit, then placed into a branded cotton drawstring bag for safe keeping.

Museum Wallpaper Story:  On my first official visit to the attic, I was rooting around with Dorothy on my hip and I opened the doors to a 15 feet tall armoire. I was holding my breath with excitement and was delighted to discover roll upon roll of the most beautiful wallpaper off-cuts from the designs that had adorned the walls of The Chateau since its birth, Comes in multi.

 

Nouveau Wallpaper Story:  Nouveau Wallpaper is a modern twist on Angel's original wallpaper design that was inspired from old wallpapers found in the attic of The Chateau de la Motte Husson as seen on Channel 4's Escape to the Chateau. Comes in multi. 

 

Honeycomb Story: The gorgeous Honeycomb pattern was wholly inspired by Dick and Angel's wonderful outdoor space with a delicate print in fresh colours and geometrical design, these coasters really will allow you to bring a piece of the Chateau outdoors into your living space. Comes in cream.

 

Potagerie Story: “The kitchen garden is Dick’s passion, though a little outside my comfort zone. That said, there is such strong shape and form to be found there that I couldn’t resist combining my love for Art Deco shapes with items from the garden tended so lovingly by my husband. The appearance of carrots, courgettes, artichokes, sweet pea and, of course, bees really scream, “Garden!” Comes in cream ( 2 different types on the drop down menu, one single potagerie or a repeat of potagerie.)

 

Watering Can Harvest Story: The Walled Garden at The Chateau has gone through an incredible transformation and now feels like a really special place to be. A place that is ever-changing, a place of beauty, and a place of learning. This important part of The Chateau has been the inspiration for A Watering Can Harvest, designed in a style that encapsulates Angel's love of Art Deco with the fun and colourful imagery found in the garden. Le Chateau Des Animaux Story: There is a lot of animal life at The Chateau in both the grounds and on the walls!  Every room has one...  Some of the most loved and recognised animals are faux and Le Chateau des Animaux is a nod to them.The Chateau's grounds give our family lots of opportunity to go on safari!  But inside?  Well, a fantastical unicorn welcomes you in the grand entrance and Arthur and Dorothy enjoy mealtimes with a giraffe and zebra in the salle manger and why not?! Comes in natural.

 

Moonlit Lily Garden Story: In 2019, the Strawbridge's visited Monet's Garden at Giverny, where he painted the famous Water Lilies. They were so inspired by its beauty that, on arrival back to The Chateau, they purchased dozens of lily flowers for the moat, which open up in the heat of the midsummer sun, and when the sun goes down, they close again: a picture-perfect scene.

 

Lily Garden Story: After a family trip to the Monet Gardens Dick and Angel were inspired to share the beauty and tranquillity that lily pads create. The Strawbridge's loved the calming effect so much that we decided bring some into our everyday lives with the Lily Garden Tile. Comes in cream & eau de nil.
