Vintage African Wood Hand Carved Reticulated Animal Bread Basket Bowl w Lid Box Rhino Lion. Beautifully carved bread basket lidded box from Africa. Lion and lionesses, a rhinoceros, an elephant, and a Cape buffalo are all shown on the very nice piece of vintage Art. Trees are also carved into the background and separate the animals.

Very nice display piece for any room! Could be used to hold yarn, fabric scraps, scented potpourri, or whatever you desire. Would be very neat in an office, den, or even child’s room decorated with animals.

In good condition from the 1960s MCM era. The couple of splits on the top of the lid do not go all the way through and appear to be natural from the wood prior to carving. No chips or other splits.
