A traditional fully fashioned chunky ribbed crew neck knitted on our chunkiest 3-gauge machines in a Shetland style pure wool. We use a Shetland type yarn which is a mixture of Lambswool and a thicker micron pure wool which gives the jumper its rugged character but is still soft to touch and will keep the wearer very warm during the cooler months. We knit and shape each panel separately beforehand linking and finishing in our soft Scottish water. The ribbed neck is double thickness which suits the traditions of this type of jumper. Made in Fisherman rib stitch or English rib as it is sometimes called, this allows movement and stretch when doing activities. Ribbed hems, neck and cuffs. Made in 100% wool and knitted on machines powered by renewable electricity. Please note the jumper is hand wash or dry clean only. The fit is classic - please do read our size guide.
