This is a little antique seal or sea lion that has been hand carved from a piece of soap stone - hardstone. It has some slight detailing on the surface which look white to stand out.
No maker's marks etc.

This was in a group of ANTIQUE items of the Victorian Edwardian period.

I would imagine this is Canadian Inuit made but it is difficult to tell, it has not got any signatures as far as I can see.

Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
Normal signs of age and use wear.

It measures approx. 28mm tall x 98mm long x 30mm wide. It weighs approx. 70 grams.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.
