#25 Cupcake Berries Blue Ribbon
In 1978 Dr. Clark sculpted a small gnome for his own amusement, inspired by the cover art on the popular book Gnomes, illustrated by the late Rien Poortvliet. Using his keen imagination, he began sculpting other small forest-dwellers, and celebrated their life of harmony with the natural world by naming them "Woodspirits".
This adorable baker is wearing a green hooded shirt with brown pants. He has on an apron and chef hat. He is standing on top of a frosted cupcake that has some strawberries on top. He has in his hand a large strawberry and behind him is a blue ribbon certificate. The cupcake is sitting on the ground with leaves and acorns and coins around it. Felt on the bottom. Has a small paint chip on back of bakers hat. Easy touch up.
