Plato’s famous Dialogues, his Trials of Socrates, conversations with Socrates
and Alcibiades, and other treatises. Other works include that of Hipparchus, a
2nd-century BC Greek astronomer whose only known work is a
commentary on the poems of Aratus and Eudoxus.
