The brand new BSA 250cc Starfire Scramber models are just
beginning to arrive in the U.S.A. This machine has a com-
pletely new frame, alloy gas tank, front end, forks and brake
set up making for lighter weight, alloy fenders, centrally lo-
cated oil tank and improved engine performance. There is also
to be a Trials version of this machine as well as a Roadster
version and in addition, the new BSA B40 Trials model is now
beginning to be available. This machine (which is a 350cc
model) is similar in appearance to the 250 pictured here. For
full information contact your BSA dealer.
The 1963 BSA Gold Star Spitfire has Catalina type racing
brakes and other detail refinements making for more power
and performance. The racy looking 1963 Gold Star Spitfire
Scrambler is finished in metallic red with chrome sport fenders
.and is supplied without lighting equipment but with generator
and voltage regulator enabling the owner to mount a sport
lighting set (where this type of lighting is permissible.)
Marlene Wolfe, Springfield, Mass., who has won many trophies
on her BSA Bantam, is well known in eastern cycle sport
activities and is one of the leading lady riders of the country.
Among her many distinctions is the fact that she was most
popular girl rider in 1959 and is still very active in New
England cycle sport. Marlene is the wife of Warren Wolfe,
brother of Willard Wolfe, BSA dealer in Springfield, Mass.
The Tina automatic scooter has no gears and no clutch. Its
completely automatic transmission copes with all changes of
speed and load, leaving the rider completely free to concentrate
on traffic. This 100cc model is now marketed by Ariel, BSA
and Triumph—the three firms which form the Motor Cycle
Division of the BSA group.
