PICTURE
SHOW,
9th February 1929. A scarce British magazine. Amazingly the double-page full-colour art
plate is still present. It was originally a free supplement with
this mag.
The
colour art plate, printed on superior paper stock, measures a large
11” by 17” and is in fine condition. It depicts Ronald Colman an Vilma Banky in TWO LOVERS.
In good
condition. If there was also a 4-pate art supplement, then it is no longer present.
The art plate may have been instead of an art supplement.
Cover: Ronald Colman, Vilma
Banky, Ramon Novarro, Greta Garbo, etc.
Inside: a full-page article on Ronald Colman; a full-page feature on TWO LOVERS; a full-page article on THE MAGIC CLOCK (Ladislau Starevitch, stop-motion); a 1-page article on Charlie Chaplin; plus reviews of all the latest films, ads, gossip and more.
