1963 Westwood, Lassen County CA - Trail Riding Town - Vintage Motorcycle Article

West wood, in Northern California's Lassen County, has a population of only 1400 yet sports a motorcycle population of over 30 riders, most of whom ride Honda trail bikes. Once a booming lumber town, the mill closed down years ago. Westwood's cycle enthusiasts spend most of their riding time playing follow the leader, trailing through the lovely redwood forests, and in unofficial "field meets." Only 20 miles from the sizable town of Susanville, all of the bikes were purchased at Frank's Sports Shop in that town.

Doug Chadwick and Mickey Jefferies liven the fun with jumps.
