KINE WEEKLY 10th November 1960. A scarce British trade magazine, originally distributed to cinema managers. It consequently had a low print run and not many copies survive today. Cinema trade magazines contained attractive full-page and double-page ads which were intended to be removed by cinema managers and displayed as posters to promote forthcoming attractions or to announce trade shows. With IDEAL KINEMA section.

In fine condition; complete, no cuts.

Cover: MGM ad.

Inside: full-page feature on the front-of-house display for BEAT GIRL; full-page ads for a double-bill of FOXHOLE OF CAIRO and CITY OF THE DEAD (Christopher Lee), THE SPIDER’S WEB (Glynis Johns) FACES IN THE DARK (Mai Zetterling), THE BOATMEN (Elsa Martinelli); double-page feature on the premiere of MAN IN THE MOON (with photos of attendees Shirley Anne Field, Judy Garland, etc); plus long reviews of all the latest films (including THREE WORLDS OF GULLIVER - Ray Harryhausen), ads, gossip and more.
