I realise now that I have taken the photos with the brooch mostly upside down, apologies for that.

This is a sterling silver brooch in the shape of the Masonic Square & Compass.
It has a triangular piece of Malachite in the centre.
It is hallmarked for London, 1991 with maker's mark RB.

Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs etc.
The pin looks like it's been twisted and is bent out of shape slightly, but is still stable.

The brooch measures approx. 50mm x 50mm.
It weighs 9.2g in total.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.
