An informal
interview with
the nine-year-old
star of television
and broadway.
Bayn Johnson has played a likeness of Shirley Temple on television — in “What’s It
All About, World” last season — and in the starring role of the Broadway comedy,
“Curley McDimple.” She has been in show business nearly all her life — from her
first job modeling for TV commercials at the age of two, to recent recordings for
Capitol records. The name of one of the songs is “Curley McDimple.”
Behind the curly wig and pancake makeup, what is this nine-year-old girl really like?
Golden Magazine found her to be very bright and natural, with all the usual
interests of a girl her age — plus some others you can read about in the interview below.
Bayn cavorts as
"Curley McDimple,” a
Broadway show about
Shirley Temple as a
child star. Do you see
the resemblance?

And much more!
