General considerations:
① It is strongly recommended to use high-pressure center internal cooling cutting. Internal cooling cutting can maximize the cutting efficiency of the drill bit, effectively avoid the accumulation of chips, breakage of the blade and damage to the processed internal surface of the machine, ensuring processing reliability
② Use external cooling to drill, the drilling depth should not exceed 1.5D; when drilling depth must be used, it is recommended to use pecking
③ To achieve the best drilling effect:
⑴ Detection of rigidity of tool holder
⑵Minimize the deviation between the tool and the spindle axis
⑶ Use the recommended cutting method
④ Minimum coolant pressure 4KG / c㎡ when drilling depth 2D / 3D, minimum coolant pressure 5KG / c㎡ or above when drilling depth 4D
⑤ Tolerance of machining hole diameter, usually drilling depth is 0 / 0.25 when 2D / 3D; 0 / 0.40 when 4D, but it will vary with different bed and processing conditions.
⑥ Avoid starting drilling on inclined surface, concave surface, uneven surface exceeding 6 °. This is very easy to make the drill bit off-center or cause the drill bit to collapse. If this is necessary, the drilling feed must be reduced to the recommended value 1/3.
⑦ If there is already a pre-drilled hole on the part, the hole diameter of the hole must not exceed 1/4 of the size of the finished product, otherwise the drill will be deflected.
⑧ When drilling parts with intersecting holes and multi-layer stacked plates, the feed must be reduced to about 1/3 of the recommended value
Warning: When drilling through the workpiece, a disc-shaped waste material will fly out at a high speed at the bottom of the workpiece, and appropriate protection measures must be taken to ensure personal safety.
