This album is a stimulating experience for the true gospel song lover . The voices of these artists ,
carefully blended together , proclaim the living reality of God’s eternal love and concern for His child-
ren .
The DISCIPLES QUARTET radiates an exuberance that is contagious , as they sing with true pleasure
in their spritely interpretation of each song presented . They just seem to light candles of faith for their
Lord and Savior .
Seeing how they have grown to be a spiritual blessing to so many , it gives me great pleasure to write
this article concerning their latest long-play album.
It has been a real challenge and the quartet’s privilege as their singing has taken them to many states .
Church services, concerts, all night gospel singings, dedications, banquets, youth for Christ, tent
and camp meetings , special Christian youth functions , radio and television, have all been included in
their itinerary .
They have moved steadily in the direction of their goal and in so doing have come closer to God and
His way. The title song of this album, CLIMBING HIGHER, will have new meaning as you listen to
each selection , because you , too , will feel closer drawn to Him . That is what it did to me .
