Description of item for sale:

This special, high quality panel is from France and dates to the mid/late 1800's.  We don't know its original use but it's certainly a beautiful wall mount headboard for a king or queen size bed!  It is made from solid oak finished to a warm honey color.  It's in very good antique condition with only very minor chips and scratches consistent with its age and no woodworm or dry rot whatsoever.  As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.  Dimensions: 90" wide, 43" high and 3" thick.   (2806)
