These dye blocks blend better with wax and don't leave the tiny dye specks in the bottom of your candles like others can! Blocks are perforated in the middle so they are easy to break in half for smaller batches or easy blending! Each Block dyes 5-15 pounds of wax. Each dye color block is approximately 1 x 2 inches x 1/2 inch thick. 

Great for paraffin waxes and also soy wax however, you will need to use more coloring for the soy waxes. Not recommended for gel wax. You can achieve a medium shade using one block for 20 pounds of paraffin wax. One block per 15 pounds of paraffin wax you will achieve a deeper color. 

Many hobbyist I am told  add dye to melted wax in the range of 175° - 185°, especially if you are using dye chips or dye blocks. This helps to ensure the dye melts completely and has uniform dispersion throughout the wax.
