Each urn is handcrafted by this American Artist. Each piece is unique. The one pictured is the one you will receive. 

Dimensions: Outer dimensions: 8-1/4" tall, 7"wide, 10" long. The inside is 7-3/8" tall, 4-7/8" wide, 7-7/8" long or 283 cubic inches. If using this as an urn, it will hold ashes from an animal or human weighing up to about 280 lbs. The box weighs 4lbs. 4oz.

Wood: Red oak and Goncalo Alves keys (those thin slots on the corners). Beautiful figure lines and color variety typical of this species.

Description: No. 248 is a bottom loading urn. The bottom is attached with 4 wood screws. It is easy to take off yet stores ashes securely.  Looks great displayed on a mantel or piece of furniture.

Process: Traditional joinery techniques are used to insure a strong and lasting construction. The wood is sanded to 600 grit and finished with hand rubbed multiple coats of non-yellowing polyurethane.  The piece is signed and dated on the back by the artist, Barry A. Belknap.
