We have pleasure in offering a vintage depression, glass cake stand / salver for your consideration. It was manufactured by Crown Crystal Glass Co. and appears as "No. 5475 9in. Salver" from the 54 Series (Leaf Panel) in both the 1929 and 1932 Catalogues. The salver is pressed with a pattern of leaves within panels and has a broadly scalloped icing edge. There are plenty of photographs for your perusal, so please scroll down to view them all. A matchbox has been added to the last 2 pictures for the purpose of perspective. This beautiful piece of vintage Australian glassware should delight a serious Crown Crystal Glass collector ~ it's a magnificent example of its kind!

AN EXCELLENT ACQUISITION FOR A COLLECTOR

C O N D I T I O N

The salver is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Surface/usage marks are very light (negligible) & presentation is absolutely first class. The usual bubbles, marks & irregularities may be present in the glass, having occurred during manufacture, which is mentioned for accuracy only. NOTE: there are 2 straw marks near the centre (from making) which can be seen in some of the photographs.
