ISO 40,000
With the Canon 6D Mark II, you have good opportunities to photograph in really difficult lighting conditions. The sensitivity goes all the way up to ISO 40'000 and can be extended up to 102400 for really tight situations. Together with Canon's Flicker Detection system, the 6D Mark II is also excellent in fluorescent lighting and other situations with difficult artificial light.
45 Cross AF points
With 45 cross-linked AF points, the 6D Mark II gets a major upgrade over its predecessor. It gives you the ability to follow moving subjects such as children, cyclists or animals. Combined with a continuous shooting of 6.5 frames per second, the 6D Mark II can cope with simpler sports contexts. 27 of the AF points can focus with an f/8 lens and the center point can handle light conditions down to -3 ev with an f/2.8 lens, which makes it easier to shoot in dark environments.
Tiltable touchscreen
The EOS 6D Mark II is Canon's first digital EOS with a full-frame sensor that has a tiltable screen. The screen folds out to the side, which allows you to use it in both high and low angles as well as from the front. This makes it very easy to get exciting angles for still images when using the screen in Live View and a tool that really helps when filming with a smaller rig or by hand. The touch screen allows you to set the focus point by pressing the screen and of course you can navigate menus with the touch screen.

All terrain, all action
Dual Pixel CMOS AF is a technology that provides really good autofocus when using the screen. Together with lenses equipped with Canon's STM or Nano USM, focusing becomes smooth, precise and compliant during filming. Thanks to the tiltable touch screen together with Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF, you can easily and conveniently set where you want the focus when filming, perfect when you don't have the option of using a Follow Focus system for manual focus. DualPixel CMOS AF also gives you the option of Face detection and Servo AF in Live View.
Digital IS in video
The Canon 6D Mark II has digital image stabilization for video, which further facilitates handheld filming or when using a compact rig but without a steadicam system.
GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC
The Eos 6D Mark II is full of wireless connections that facilitate and help the photographer along the way. The built-in GPS keeps track of where pictures and videos are taken and recorded, excellent for travel but also for reportage and news photographers. The GPS also ensures that the time and date in the camera are correct, and if you use several 6D Mark IIs, the time is kept synchronized.
Wifi allows you to both remotely control the camera via an app on the phone and you can see the Live View image on the phone's screen. If the tiltable screen is not enough to place the camera at different angles, the Wifi connection and the remote control will help you achieve your goals. Through the App, you can also make photo settings in the camera and transfer images directly to the phone for publication directly on social media. If you have a phone with NFC, the wireless connection to the camera becomes super easy.
