DESCRIPTION:
Antique Scottish Georgian mahogany longcase clock grandfather with drum head top clock case. Eight day movement and original silvered dial is a value point.
Traditional late Georgian shape design in mahogany cabinet with glazed round or drum head top.
Original hand silvered dial with engraved arabic numerals.
It has the traditional two train movement ( time keeping and separate bell striking) with top mounted bell. The bell strikes the hour count.
The mahogany clock case with drum head top over neoclassical flame mahogany case flanked by turned columns in the georgian manner.
Original hand drawn glass door with brass bezel.
A single flame mahogany door below gives access to the weights and pendulum.
Working well but not guaranteed.
The case in original french polished finish is completely with key and pendulum.

Any goods remaining after 30 days will be treated as uncollected and abandoned goods. The purchaser fully acknowledges this notice at the time of bidding and any deposits received are forfeited to the seller in order to recover any restocking fees and storage charges.
Abandoned goods may be disposed of by the seller in whatever manner is chosen. We are sorry to have to note this clause in our listing but are no longer able to store items indefinitely and for free.
