Delicately hinged lid lifts to reveal a removal storage tray for jewellery and trinkets, inlaid with holders and compartments.

The lid is held with two satin straps.

This box is in lovely condition, but its age is unknown.  A lovely example of this rare item that will bring some class to any dressing table.
