Charles Ford Antique Dessert / Buffet / Cake Plates Set of Six. English Bone China (porcelain) Made in Staffordshire; England; The CF initials and Reg number used circa late 1890’s I think.

Plates measure 8” inches (20cm)

Sprayed gold scalloped rims; on an embossed outer band; and hand coloured full bloom roses in shades of pale orange; yellow; peach and green.

All six plates are clean and all retain a healthy ring. No chips; no cracks; no hairlines; no crazing; no pattern loss. Some sprayed-gold rub wear consistent with age and usage. (Possibly 120 years old!) One plate has a tiny rim firing line of less than 0.5cm from time of manufacturing (see last photo; it doesn’t affect function; the plate retains a healthy ring; and it doesn’t go through)

Listing is for ALL SIX Plates shown.
