This piece of vintage jewelry is a pin/brooch in gold plated metal and spinel. Pin is a flat round disk with a Florentine texture. Toward the edge is a small ruby red spinel embedded in a diamond-cut eight pointed star shape. Edges are diamond cut scallops. Lovely as is, but could be engraved with an initial if desired. Piece is in excellent vintage condition. Comes in gift box.
