I had so much fun pulling the prints for this quintessential baby quilt. This size is perfect for wrapping up a newborn and placing overbaby in the crib as they grow. It is the size I made for my own children and they still had them on their beds as teenagers. I also used soft flannel backing on those quilts and I was surprised at how well the flannel held up. I particularly like the flannel against their skin, along with that snuggle-in feeling it lends to the quilt.

The fabrics came from years of sewing scraps and are a mixture of cottons and cotton-poly blends, along with the cotton flannel backing. Wild Child Brights is machine pieced and machine quilted in a classic meander pattern.

I have washed the quilt with dye free, fragrance free detergent to remove all traces of any stabilizers, marking pens, or adhesives that may have been used in making the quilt. The quilt is fully machine washable and dryable on a medium heat setting.
