Vintage Regal Lion Bookends Heraldic Decor. These bookings are definitely metal and heavy. I have a 40 lb magnet that sticks to the base of these bookends very well and the Lions themselves are semi-magnetic, what I mean is the magnet is attracted to it but does not stick to it and the lines slow down The descent of the magnet just like silver just a little stronger. The pictures make them look slightly better but there are mild imperfections like light scratches and signs of use. The bottoms are lined with felt so it should prevent scratches on your nice bookshelf. These likely way a little over a pound each and should hold some pretty heavy books up!

They appear to be painted but the paint appears to be original and the paint is in pretty good condition and we'll add some nice patina to your shelf. One of the bookends appears to be glued back together but is not that noticeable.
