The Gurch (yes that is his REAL LEGAL name!!) is a reclusive and mysterious British artist. Virtually nothing is known about him- not even his age. He does not attend cons and refuses to do interviews. He started working for FantaCo in 1987 by submitting some unsolicited sample pages and his following has continued to increase every year since. Certain back issues of his comics have reached $250 a copy.
