Art and Publicity - Fine Printing and Design by Sydney R. Jones. Edited by Geoffrey Holme. Published in 1925 by The Studio, Ltd., London. Hardcover, 172 pages. Measures about 8.5" x 11.5".

This beautiful volume was an early guide to advertising graphics. The volume is copiously illustrated with examples of graphic advertisements, including many in full color. Published in 1925, the book straddled the art deco and art nouveau periods and contains numerous exemplars from each school.

Also included with the book is a glossy, 12-page advertising supplement that we found inside the back cover. The supplement contains a mint, unused subscription card for The Advertiser's Weekly.

Condition is very nice. There are no bookplates, ink names, pen/pencil notations, or similar flaws. There is no dust jacket, but we're not sure the volume had one to begin with. The front free endpaper is darkened from contact with some long-gone paper.
