Removed from the 2006 Aprilia RSV 1000 R shown. The bike had an indicated 38988 miles on the clock, and was in very good condition prior to dismantling. It started on the button (see video below), and ran very cleanly with excellent throttle response............
This subframe is in very good condition, and is straight and undamaged. There are no broken screws / stripped threads.
A brief summary of the actual donor bike:
This bike was bought privately. The previous owner had owned the bike for the last 5 years. He bought the bike in 2018 with a mileage of 27600 miles on the clock. He was the 10th keeper. The last MOT was conducted in Sept'20 at a mileage of 36110 miles (a Pass with no advisories). The owner dropped the bike on its LHS in 2021 sustaining very minor damage. However, despite the minimal damage the bike was not put back on the road. The indicated mileage at the time of dismantling was 38988 miles. The frame number was ZD4RRK0026S000897.
