A giant, linen/cloth-backed map of Turkey.

This map was produced by the MEB - the Ministry of National Education, based in Istanbul.

It is dated, as you can see from the images, 1965.

This map is huge. It measures approx 238cm x 135cm.

Looking carefully at the map, it appears that at some point (and it may have been at the point of production) individual sheets were applied to the linen to create the map. You can see this from some slightly dodgy join lines!

Please study the images carefully for the condition. If further images would be helpful please get in touch. There is some damage to the edges from storage.

It is a truly stunning piece.
