Dedicated to one of the Hetman capitals - Glukhov. The historical past of Glukhov is closely connected with the processes of state and law-making. Since 1708, the city has been the permanent residence of the hetmans of the Left Bank of Ukraine - I. Skoropadskyi, P. Polubotka, D. Apostol, K. Rozumovskyi. The first Little Russian College (1722 - 1727), the board of the Hetman government (1734 - 1750) and the second Little Russian College (1764 - 1782) were located in Glukhiv, the General Military Office, the General Court, and other state bodies operated here.
On the obverse side of the coin there is a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine (above), under which the year of coinage is 2008, the inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE in a semicircle, in the center there is a cannon and a bell that were made in Glukhiv, at the bottom the denomination is 10/HRYVNY, the designation of the metal, its proof - Ag 925, pure mass - 31.1 (left) and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized panorama of the city, in the center of which is the Kyiv Gate of the city fortress; at the top in a semicircle is the inscription - THE CAPITAL OF THE HETMANS, below it - the coat of arms of the city and four portraits of the hetmans, under which there are inscriptions: IVAN/SKOROPADSKY, PAVLO/POLUBOTOK, DANILO/APOSTLE, KYRILO/ROZUMOVSKY, at the bottom between the stylized fragments of the ornament is the inscription GLUHIV.
