This beautiful dressmaking fabric is one of the most unusual fabrics we have ever seen at Minerva. It is made from two layers of fabric, the base fabric is a woven poly and the top layer is a woven voile which is see through. So when you look at the fabric you can see through the top layer to the bottom layer of fabric. Both layers of fabric have been printed with the exact same design and have been layered one on top of each other so the design matches on both layers. The fabrics are attached together every so often with machine stitches, but there is room for movement so that the two layers of fabric can move away from each other. The result is so unusual! The fabric looks almost blurry from a distance, like an optical illusion. It creates such a wonderful ever that is really pretty. The overall fabric is a medium weight woven with very little drape. It would be perfect for making into tops, skirts and dresses. Minerva Polyester Voile is a light-weight fabric with a beautiful flower pattern. It is made of 100% polyester and comes in a platinum color. This fabric is deadstock, meaning it is leftover from previous production runs, making it a sustainable choice for crafters. With an approximate width of 148cm / 59", it provides ample material for various projects. It is recommended to wash this fabric at 40 degrees for optimal care. Crafters will love working with this versatile and eco-friendly fabric. Fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre. The fabric will be cut as one continuous piece no matter how many metres you order. All orders are despatched from our warehouse in Darwen, Lancashire, UK. MV-AW130-Platinum.
