Two matching Antique Queen Anne Chippendale Style Walnut Dining Chairs. These walnut high back dining chairs are made in the Chippendale style, having wonderful shaped high backs the walnut show wood to the front legs having carved detail. (carved knees). The back legs sweep backwards.The chairs have high straight padded backs and seats. One is an armchair and one is a single dining chair. They are superb quality and upholstered in an expensive quality fabric.
Believed not to be original period chairs but they do have a great deal of age (probably 19th century) and the characteristics of an earlier chair. i.e. straight backs, short seats, narrow backs, etc., and are of superior manufacture.
