Released in conjunction with Disney's computer-animated feature film, Tangled for Wii is a side-scrolling action game with platform puzzles and light combat. Players guide the main character Rapunzel, re-imagined from her fairy tale form with modern sensibilities, who can use her extraordinarily long hair to grab distant objects and swing across gaps. As she travels through themed areas based on locations from the movie, including the Forest, the Village, and the Tower, Rapunzel encounters other characters, both animal and human, who may need her help. By making friends whenever she can, Rapunzel can count on assistance when she really needs it. Some sequences have players controlling cavalier companion, Flynn, and the game has a co-operative multiplayer mode so that both characters can adventure together.
