Visigoths. Scudery writes this work of historical fiction describing the
Visigoth attack and subsequent sack of Rome in 410AD.
Published in 1654, this impressive folio edition features 10 full-page
engravings and, per the title of the work, was dedicated to Christina, Queen of
Sweden.
