Pokemon Authentic Toys R’ Us Arceus Sinjoh Ruins Event Distribution Service for Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver (Please Read Description!)

THIS IS NOT A LISTING TO PURCHASE THE THE ARCEUS DISTRIBUTION CARTRIDGE, ANY ITEMS THAT DISTRIBUTE THE TOYS R’ US ARCEUS, ANY PHYSICAL GAMES, CARTRIDGES, DISCS, GAME SYSTEMS, PHYSICAL MEDIA, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. THIS IS A DISTRIBUTION SERVICE WHERE YOU MAIL YOUR POKEMON DIAMOND, POKEMON PEARL, POKEMON PLATINUM, POKEMON HEARTGOLD AND/OR POKEMON SOULSILVER CARTRIDGE(S) TO ME TO RECEIVE THE EVENT TOYS R’ US ARCEUS, WHICH YOU CAN THEN USE TO TRIGGER THE SINJOH RUINS EVENT IN POKEMON HEARTGOLD AND POKEMON SOULSILVER.

Hello, thank you for visiting this listing. This listing is for a distribution service listing which involves you mailing your copy of Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon HeartGold, and/or Pokemon SoulSilver to me, where I will then distribute the Toys R’ Us Arceus, which can then be used to travel to the Sinjoh Ruins and obtain a Generation 4 legendary dragon in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

On November 7th, 2009, a special event began around the world for players of the Generation 4 Pokemon games. Those who brought their Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and/or Platinum games to participating Toys R' Us stores during the event period could download an exclusive event Arceus, the creator of all Pokemon. This was the first time Arceus had been made available via legitimate means, as the Hall of Origin/Azure Flute event in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum was never officially released. By trading this Arceus to Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver and traveling to the Ruins of Alph in, players can be taken to an exclusive area known as the Sinjoh Ruins, where they could obtain special level 1 Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina, which is the only way to natively receive any of these Pokemon without trading in the Johto remakes. This event Arceus was only available via this Toys R' Us distribution, and it was only downloadable between the start date of November 7th and the distribution's end date of November 15th, 2009. Unfortunately, once the event date passed, the Arceus and its corresponding event could no longer be downloaded or accessed nor was ever distributed online or in-person again. With this distribution service, I can distribute the Toys R' Us Arceus and its associated Wonder Card onto all Generation 4 games and allow you to access the Sinjoh Ruins event once more in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. This distribution results in you receiving the 100% authentic and genuine Toys R' Us Arceus Wonder Card. This distribution service is meant to allow those who want to gain access to the event Arceus and travel to the Sinjoh Ruins the opportunity to do so many years after the original distribution event has passed. This event makes a great gift for those looking to relive secret Pokemon events, those looking to complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things.

(This listing contains bonuses alongside the Toys R’ Us Arceus, including discounts upon multiple Arceus purchases, so continue reading for further information.)

General Information:

Upon purchase, messaging me or showing interest, I will go ahead and run through all of the requirements your game(s) need to meet in order to receive the service(s) of interest. There are typically other questions I ask as well, usually in regards to customer specifics and the like, but assuming all of your answers demonstrate a clear ability for your game(s) to partake in the service(s), I’d then give the okay for you to purchase (assuming you hadn’t done so already), and once you have done so, I will send you my address to move things along. I highly recommend you message me before placing an order, as in the event that for whatever reason you cannot receive the given service(s), it makes it so I don’t have to cancel any orders, as well as making sure you don’t get your hopes up. Regardless of the end result, I encourage you to reach out - please message me if you have any questions, concerns, interests, requests, etc.

(The price of) shipping is all on you; please try finding the most cost effective way to both make sure you aren’t paying large costs to ship your game(s) out, and also make sure your game(s) remain safe. When your package arrives, I will let you know as soon as possible and work on the services whenever I have the opportunity.

During the distribution process, I will message you frequently to share updates on how work is progressing. I will always include photos of the important parts of any given service in said updates, so if there is anything specific you would like to make sure I share, please let me know and I will do what I can.

When the distribution service(s) is/are complete and I’ve gotten confirmation from you that all of the work I’ve done on your game(s) looks correct and as you want it, I will mail your game(s) back to you as soon as I can and you’ll be free to use your new event Arceus once your package makes a safe return.

The Arceus is from an authentic Mystery Gift Wonder Card event and is 100% legitimate and legal and is thus compatible with Pokemon Bank and Home, and regardless of if you choose Dialga, Palkia or Giratina at Sinjoh Ruins, all three are also completely authentic and can be transferred to Bank and Home as well.

Detailed Information:

In this service, there are one of two ways I can send you the event Pokemon. The first method is, of course, directly distributing the Arceus to the game(s) you send in via Mystery Gift. If sending in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and/or Platinum, the Mystery Gift menu must be unlocked. If you have not reached Jubilife City and have not unlocked Mystery Gift, you will be unable to participate in this distribution service. For those who have reached Jubilife City (which you likely have since you go there even before the first gym badge) and do not have Mystery Gift unlocked, you can unlock it like so: On the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife TV Station, you will find this couple. Talk to the guy, and when he asks you to input a greeting, put “EVERYONE HAPPY” as the first two words, followed by “WI-FI CONNECTION” as the next two. If you did everything correctly, you should now have the Mystery Gift option in the main menu. If sending in Pokemon HeartGold and/or SoulSilver, the Mystery Gift menu option will automatically unlock as soon as you fight your rival for the first time.

Assuming you have Mystery Gift unlocked on either Generation 4 game and wish to receive them via the first method, please be aware that if there isn’t enough space in your Wonder Card inventory that I will have to delete one to make space for the Arceus’s Wonder Card, and more importantly, so that I can actually distribute the event Pokemon to your game(s). All you need to do after they have been distributed is to visit any PokeMart and talk to the man in green who stands in front of the counter. You will then be given your new event Arceus!

The second method I can do for this service is for me to distribute the Mystery Gift to my own copy of a Generation 4 Pokemon game, transfer the event Pokemon to it, and then trade said event Pokemon over to the game you sent over to me. Now, you may likely be asking “why would I ever consider this method over the other?” Well, there’s actually a handful of reasons as to why you might want this. For one, if you’re full on Wonder Cards and don’t want to delete any for the event Arceus, then I can trade you over one instead of having to replace any Wonder Cards. Another reason would be if you have already had any of these three event Pokemon sent to your game in the past and no longer have access to it; Mystery Gifts can only be redeemed once, so if you want to get said Mystery Gift Pokemon again, you’ll need to trade it over. Another reason is if you want multiple of the same event Pokemon on one cartridge for any reason (see bonuses section for more information). Please be aware this method would require you capturing Pokemon for use as trade fodder. Both methods have their own reasons for being done, but I assume it’s safe to bet most people would rather go with method one for obvious reasons.

There may be a few people wondering how exactly this service is done for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver via method one, as for those who are unaware, this Mystery Gift was only distributed to Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, as they originally intended for you to trade over the event Arceus to activate the Sinjoh Ruins event. I have actually managed to successfully enable the flags on the distribution software that let the Wonder Card be distributed to Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, so all Generation 4 games will be able to receive it natively through Mystery Gift. For the record, this has no bearing on the authenticity of the event Pokemon, as even if it is redeemed in a game it wasn’t originally intended to be in, its information attached will always remain the same and it will always be deemed legitimate and able to be transferred to Pokemon Bank and Home. With that said, if you are not a fan of this, we can always do method two instead.

Regardless of which method used to receive the Arceus, in order to travel to the Sinjoh Ruins, simply bring your Arceus to the Ruins of Alph, where if it is walking alongside you and you attempt to go into the house at the bottom right entrance, the researcher will ask for your help in solving the mystery of the Ruins of Alph. Once taken into the ruins’ chamber though, you will then be teleported to the Sinjoh Ruins, where you will meet up with Cynthia who will ask you to come with her to the Mystri Stage, an area further into the Sinjoh Ruins, once you have placed all of your Pokemon excluding Arceus into the PC. Once at Mystri Stage and having talked to Cynthia, you are now ready to receive your Generation 4 box legendary, and you can do so by standing on the center of the circle that represents the legendary you want - Dialga on the left, Palkia on the right, and Giratina on top. Once you have made your choice, a cutscene will now play! Once over, you will then be given your box legendary of choice and teleported back to the Ruins of Alph.

As an additional bonus, if you choose to receive Giratina from the event, the legendary will be holding onto the Griseous Orb and will be in Origin Form. This is the only way to have the Griseous Orb in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, as the item cannot be traded over from Pokemon Platinum and will always be placed back into the bag, even if attempting to trade over a Origin Form Giratina - they will revert back to their normal form when traded.

Please note that the Sinjoh Ruins event is not in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum; it is an event exclusive to Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver and the form only exists in those two games. There is a separate, unrelated (and unreleased) event in the Sinnoh games via the Azure Flute, which can be used to catch your own Arceus. Interestingly, if you trade that Arceus to HGSS and try to go to Sinjoh Ruins again, you can activate the event a second time. Also, if you do not meet the requirements mentioned above to receive the event Pokemon but send in your cartridge(s) believing you do meet them, I will unfortunately refund you and send your cartridge(s) back, though I cannot refund shipping. Please try to avoid this outcome at all costs; I assure you it’s not fun for either party.

Bonuses:

MULTIPLE GAMES/TOYS R’ US ARCEUS - If you happen to want an Arceus on multiple of your Pokemon DS games or multiple Arceus on one copy, or even a mix of both, that’s very much an option. Prices will lessen the more games/Arceus you send or ask for. This service’s listed price is on a per Arceus basis. Prices will lessen the more games/Arceus you send or ask for, as shown below. Keep in mind this list isn’t set in stone seeing as I have best offers enabled, so this list is more of a point of reference. Please also note that if you would like multiple Arceus on one copy that some will need to be traded, as you can only directly receive a Mystery Gift once.

  • 1 TRU Arceus - $15 per ($15 total)

  • 2 TRU Arceus - $14 per ($28 total, saving $2)

  • 3 TRU Arceus - $13 per ($39 total, saving $6)

  • 4 TRU Arceus - $12 per ($48 total, saving $12)

  • 5 TRU Arceus - $11 per ($55 total, saving $20)

  • 6 or more TRU Arceus - $10 per (If 6 TRU Arceus, $60 total and saving $30, if 10 TRU Arceus, $100 total and saving $50, etc)

DISCOUNTS - For customers who are already sending in their cartridges or customers who have sent in their cartridges in the past will be offered discounts on any distribution services going forward. The discount will vary from service to service, but if you are/were interested in multiple services, this can act as a great incentive to purchase them. And before you ask, yes, this DOES stack on top of the already existing discounts given from purchasing multiple of the given Pokemon/service.

FAQ:

I often get asked a lot of similar messages and questions about my services. I’ve decided to list many of them along with their answers to prevent as much confusion as possible. Of course, if you don’t see a question you have in this section, feel free to send me a message so I can help out. If I get asked anything not on here enough times, I will update the description to include it.

“Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”

No - absolutely none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible.

“Does my GBA Pokemon game’s internal clock battery being dead matter for this service?:”

No - your Pokemon game’s internal battery does not affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead.

“Do you offer a service to replace a GBA Pokemon game’s dead internal clock battery?”

Unfortunately not as of typing this, though I want to in the future. Once I feel comfortable enough with the process (and of course have spare batteries), I will consider it further.

“Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”

No - GBA and DS game save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself.

Can I purchase a cartridge with the service already on them, rather than mailing my own game in?”

No - I only have one of each Pokemon game, and they are my own personal cartridges. This will very likely never be something I offer, unless I happen to stumble upon spare copies through some means.

“Do you take requests for special and/or custom orders?”

I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to help with specific and custom requests, but it never hurts to ask. Feel free to send a message my way and I’ll tell you if I’ll be able to help out. Every custom request I’ve received (assuming it’s not about the previous question’s topic) I have succeeded in fulfilling as of typing this, so hopefully I can keep that streak going.

“Is there any way we can communicate outside of eBay messaging?”

Yes - you are free to send me a friend request and message me on Discord via my ID of Mvw#8142 - this is very likely the best way to message me, as I’m very active on there (though before friending me, please send a message on eBay letting me know of you sending a friend request so I know who sent it and whether or not to accept said friend request or not.).

“Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (RBY, GSC, XY, SM, USUM, LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”

I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, and so on. Regardless, this does tie into the special requests and custom orders section too - if you’d like me to perform a service on any of these games, feel free to ask and I’ll see what I can do here as well.

“Do your services run for a limited time only? Do the listings end once the quantity reaches zero? Should I purchase now to avoid missing out?

Don’t worry - I plan to go ahead and keep these services going for as long as I can, though there will likely be times in the future where I temporarily stop working on them for a bit, likely due to school or vacations and such. Outside of that, no, I do not plan to stop my services anytime soon. Additionally, I always increase the quantity of each service when it gets low, so you will always be able to purchase in the future. With that all said, I advise you to please not purchase unless you feel you are ready to mail your game out, as admittedly due to the way eBay is set up, they do expect me to purchase a shipping label for use within the coming days after a purchase is made, so to avoid that, it is best to wait until you feel ready to proceed with the service.

“Why are your shipping times so long? Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”

Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen.

“How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”

Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your game to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also can give out my full name when giving my address if anyone t affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead.

I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea. Finally, I always urge those concerned about such to check the reviews left from previous customers who I have worked with in the past. As always, if you have any other concerns over this, feel free to message me about it.

Thank you for reaching the bottom of this description. If you have any questions, concerns or interests, please don’t be afraid to ask. As mentioned above, if you would prefer to message me on other platforms such as Discord, follow the instructions as given, and we can discuss from there. Finally, please note that I am just an average person and may not be able to respond right away, so I do hope you can be patient. Be on the lookout for future distribution services/listings from me in the future for many other generations’ worth of Pokemon events. For now, seeing as you’ve reached the bottom of the description and likely have an interest in Pokemon events and distributions, below you will find the services I currently have available, along with ones I plan to have available in the future. Thank you again for your interest in my services and supporting a college student’s little business, and I hope you have a great day!
