Answer: I think they can be washed in hot water because I've already done it and nothing wrong has happened to them.

Question: Sheets are fine but no pillow cases — package wrong?

Answer: Double check the description, unless says only fitted sheet & flat sheet, it should come as a full set which includes two pillow cases.
