Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Maarten de Vos'. Maarten de Vos (1532-1603) was an Antwerp painter and draughtsman of the late sixteenth century. His travels to Italy made him adopt the Mannerist style. His designs were very popular and were followed widely.
