Designed to specifications from the National Audubon Society and the North American Bluebird Society, this complete predator guard system integrates three components:

1. Solid cedar wood base extends the thickness of the entry hole by 3/4". This alone creates a barrier that makes it difficult for many predators to reach in and harm nesting birds.

2. Solid brass rim reinforces the entry hole and inhibits gnawing and clawing predators for enlarging it to gain access to the birds and eggs inside. 

3. 6" x 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" galvanized steel wire cage (with optional protective vinyl coating) with flared out sharp wire ends deters all predators.
