In good condition, 5 antique engravings depicting early 19th century technology made by the engraver Samuel Porter (active 1792-1842). The pictures come from an early pictorial encyclopedia published by Thomas Tegg (1776-1846)  of London and date to 1812. The size of the paper on which the prints are made is 27.0 cm x 20.9 cm. Note that there is a small paper loss on the top edge of the last print. A varied range of technologies are covered by these engravings including glass manufacture, foundry work, husbandry, cranes, and steam engines.
