It adds shooting location information to captured images as "Exif information.
It also has a built-in electronic compass and adds shooting direction information to images as "Exif information" along with location information. 2
When an image with location information is loaded into the supplied Map Utility, the shooting location and thumbnail of the image can be displayed on a map.
In addition, the satellite's onboard atomic clock can be used to set the time with high precision.
